We are pleased to offer our patients 2 separate options for how they choose to undergo surgery.
Private Surgery
The Associated Foot Clinic is equipped with a state-of-the-art surgical suite which is accredited by the College of Podiatric Physicians of Alberta. Your comfort is of utmost importance as you are brought through the process of having your surgical procedure. Sedation is available to facilitate your comfort and volume is kept low in order to maximize time spent with our patients. Our goal is to provide one-to-one care that is both personal and professional. Procedures can be scheduled at the convenience of the patient in order to accommodate any busy schedule. All fees will be discussed during the pre-operative consultation.
Publicly Funded Surgery (Covered by Alberta Health)
Surgeons at the Associated Foot Clinic have privileges in hospital settings and, as such, are able to provide surgical services that are fully funded by Alberta Health. These procedures take place in accredited Alberta Health Services operating rooms and are staffed by a team of surgical nurses. An Anesthesiologist will be present and available to discuss and provide all options of anesthesia in order to maximize your comfort. A referral from your medical practitioner is required in order to access this option. Wait times can vary.
